Beau Coops Frankly 01 $269 (nzd)
These super cute stripey wedges are from Carrie Cooper's new season collection for her footwear label Beau Coops.  Cooper is a New Zealander who has been based in London for the past eight years, while working as a footwear designer for Eley Kishimoto, Bernhard Willhelm, and Alexander McQueen for Puma.  Beau Coops is her debut as her own label and she has created a brand reflecting a coming together of ideas and styles, creating beautifully designed footwear and accessories.

Beau Coops is based in Australia but the shoes are made in Italy and inspired by her former East London neighborhood ‘London Fields’, the unisex Beau Coops label embodies what the designer calls ‘boyfriend chic’ - reminiscent of that special piece borrowed from a loved one.  The Frankly 01' ankle boots first debuted on the runway during last year's NZ Fashion Week at the Stolen Girlfriends Club show and have had a solid following ever since.  The exposed silver zip which allows the shoe to be folded down or worn fully zipped up with a cute peeptoe make them versatile and easy to wear. They come in several different styles and colours but this blue stripey version is my favourite.

I love wedges as they are so comfortable to wear and easy to walk in no matter how high they are. These hot ankle boots are a must have for summer and perfect for styling with your favourite summer denim or sundress.
