Simple, Subtle And Oh So Chic

This has to be one of the most elegant editorials I have seen in a while, such clean but sophisticated garments in truly flattering shapes.  I love the use of a muted colour palette with a focus on autumnal hues.  Frida Gustavsson looks so radiant in outfits that make her look refined and rather ladylike.  This shoot was shot by Victor Demarchelier for Vogue Japan's August issue and seems to be a beautiful ode to the elegant woman.

I also love the vintage-inspired styling of this editorial, the sixtie-style turban, luscious soft curl of her hair and cleverly chosen hats and bags make these photos a true delight to look at.  I'm always thrilled when I see an editorial where the skirt lengths are for the most part more modest, I think it's a lot classier than super short lengths.  Oh how I wish my wardrobe looked like this for winter.
