Making their return to the NZFW runway after a confident debut last year, COOP showed a different direction and a beautiful new collection, which turned the fashion crowd's heads for all the right reasons.  With everything from fresh floral blazers and sexy sequined party dresses to printed velvet bomber jackets taking a turn on the runway, the look was youthful, edgy and lots of fun.

Designer Lauren Connolly, Trelise Cooper's longtime design assistant, collaborated with Trelise on the range, which combines custom prints with a range of different textiles including lace and leather.  The bright venus fly trap print was a custom creation by their own graphic designer and is amusingly dubbed 'fashion with bite'.

I loved this collection for it's playfulness and great use of colour and print.  It's also utterly wearable with lots of options for cool daywear and gorgeous partywear.  I can't wait to see this collection instore next year, as I've definitely added it to my list of labels to lust over next season.
