NZFW 2012: ghd Blue Sky - Ingrid Starnes

Wednesday, September 12, 2012

Rapidly becoming the go-to label for elegant and beautifully tailored clothing, Ingrid Starnes showed a winsome collection as the second show in the two part ghd Blue Sky event last Wednesday.  A radiant collection of beauties with mostly natural looking makeup and a pretty pink lip graced the runway in a range inspired by weekends in the English countryside.

From the prim and proper to just a bit playful, the Ingrid Starnes girl was keen for fun with her casually draped cardigan, but still refined with her knee length skirt.  With everything from teadresses, and equestrian like houndstooth blazers and pants to a fitted gold-hued sheath dress, this weekend away looks like an adventurous one.  I loved the charming details, peter pan collars and delicate prints.  Luxurious silks in the loveliest colours and flattering silhouettes made every garment utterly covetable.  This is a collection a girl could fall hopelessly in love with.
