Tea Time With Amber Whitecliffe And Emma Highfield

Outfit by Amber Whitecliffe
Perfectly pretty prints and beautiful bright beachwear came together on Sunday for a combined runway show by Amber Whitecliffe and Emma Highfield Lingerie.  In an appropriately lovely high tea setting with delicious treats made by Emma and charming goodie bags made by Amber, guests were treated to a wonderful afternoon of gorgeous girly fashion.

Amber's debut collection was up first, entitled Cross Roads, it's inspired partly by Amber's creative journey in fashion so far and also by the beautiful cross-stitched embroidered silk which is the hero fabric in her range.  The collection is made up of lots of lovely separates and dresses in charming florals and delightful fabrics.  The look is fresh and feminine, but the pieces could easily be worn by any aged woman.  My favourite garments were the Colour Boom dress (second below), Indian Love dress (third below) and Tara dress (4th below).  It was such a gorgeous debut from Amber, so excited to see what she does next, but in the meantime I have to figure out what to order!  Her collection will be available in limited numbers and on a made to order basis from her website this month.

Next up was Emma Highfield Lingerie, who has extended her stunning range to include swimwear from this season.  Her delightful collection was right on trend with neon brights and flirty florals featuring on well-cut beachwear, which draped and flattered in all the right ways.  With a mix of bikinis, one-pieces and flowing beach dresses, it's a collection made for enjoying the sun, with a range of looks from sexy to girlish.  I love the sweet ruffles and keyhole details and will definitely be adding one of these swimsuits and a beach dress to my wardrobe for summer.  Emma's range is available from her website here.

Huge congratulations to Amber and Emma on their amazing new collections and for such an enjoyable afternoon.  I'm so inspired to shop for summer now and can't wait to own some of these pretty pieces myself.
