Stunning Spring Couture From Paolo Sebastian

Saturday, July 27, 2013

Spring is by far my favourite fashion season, I've never been a fan of winter so the arrival of fresh, pretty hues, lighter layers and floaty fabrics makes my heart beat faster, much like this stunning new collection from Paolo Sebastian.  Hailing from South Australia, these gorgeous garments are by Adelaide couturier Paul Vasileff, who at just 23 has made a name for himself as an in-demand evening and bridal gown designer.

As you can see by these beautiful images Vasileff has quite an eye for creating glamourous garments that are intricately detailed and carefully constructed.  The look is feminine, with a nod to vintage starlets, but still modern and wearable.  It's easy to see why he's quickly built up a loyal following with his oh so covetable creations.

For spring, I'm loving the winsome soft blues, crisp white, pretty peach and smouldering red which make up the Paolo Sebastian colour palette this season.  The ladylike dresses, elegant gowns and sharp separates have me positvely swooning over this collection and I can only imagine how gorgeous these silks and laces are to touch and wear.

In a world where so much of fashion is mass produced it's wonderful to see designers who still take so much time and care to produce garments that are something special and utterly spellbinding.  If like me you're in love with these delightful images and want to know more you can check out Paolo Sebastian's website here.
