A New Day Dawns For Juliette Hogan

There are few labels that do modern femininity as well as Juliette Hogan, her collections have grown to embody an elegance and classic wearability season after season, whilst still maintaining a contemporary feel.  Her latest collection 'New Day' for Spring/Summer 2014 is another confident offering from the designer, which is sophisticated, summery and perfectly captures her style of casual luxury.

Beautiful fabrics are key again this season, with divine silk, cotton, linen and lace making up the majority of her range, light knits and denim also feature too.  New Day's colour palette is also decidedly pretty, in particular the lovely hues of the floral 'secret garden' print below.  As has become her signature, the pieces are a juxtaposition of structured garments and more casual looks that mix and match wonderfully to allow the wearer an enviable wardrobe versatility and work well with the classic JHo staples.

Unsurprisingly I adore this entire range, especially all the maxi-length dresses and skirts as you can see. They're such a light and airy garment to wear in summer, especially since in winter they just end up getting rain-soaked and messy.  One of the things I love most about the maturation in Juliette's style in recent years is the delicate balance of sweet, sexy and androgyny in her collections.  The masculine tailoring, as seen in her boyfriend shirts and boxier cuts makes her pieces seem of the moment and fresh, while still being utterly desirable and appealing to women like me who never wear trousers.  I'd be hard pressed to play favourites with this collection as quite simply and yet again, I absolutely want to add all of it to my wardrobe immediately.

A New Day is available in Juliette Hogan stores, stockists and online here from today.
